Helping you understand what your body is trying to say

When your body changes, through pain, injury, stress, pregnancy or midlife, it can affect far more than how you feel physically. You might feel disconnected from yourself, unsure what is normal, or quietly frustrated that things still do not feel right.

My work is about helping you make sense of what is happening, understand your body more clearly, and find a way forward that feels realistic and sustainable.

Kim Pedrick MCSP HCPC POGP BMAS. Founder of Evolve Health and Wellbeing.

Hi, I'm Kim

I am a Chartered Physiotherapist with more than 25 years of experience, an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy, and specialist training in pelvic health. I have also trained in Lifestyle Medicine, health & therapeutic coaching alongside yoga and Pilates, including equipment.

The qualifications are only part of it. What really shapes how I work is what I have seen across those years. That the leak is rarely just about the leak. That pelvic pain is rarely only about the pelvis. That the tiredness women carry often holds the weight of far more than a busy week.

Symptoms rarely exist on their own. Pain, tension, hormones, stress, movement, emotion and lived experience all influence how the body feels and functions. So I never look at a symptom in isolation. I look at the whole picture, and at you.

How I see it: body, pattern, purpose

My approach is built around three layers, because lasting change usually needs all three.

Body. We start with what your body is actually doing. Your pelvic floor, your movement, your nervous system, your strength, your sleep, the physical reality of what you are feeling. This is where 25 years of clinical physiotherapy sits.

Pattern. Then we look at the patterns underneath. The pushing through, the carrying, the not asking, the habits that once kept you going and may now be quietly working against you.

Purpose. And where it helps, we make space for the bigger questions. What this stage of life is for, what you actually want, and how you want to feel in your body again.

Not everyone needs all three layers. Some people come for focused physiotherapy, and that is exactly right. Others want the deeper work. We start wherever you are.

How I work

I believe good care starts with feeling properly heard.

Many people arrive feeling dismissed, overwhelmed, or unsure how their symptoms connect. My job is to slow things down, help you understand what your body is communicating, and bring clarity to what is going on.

Sessions are thoughtful, practical and tailored to you, never rushed or one-size-fits-all. Depending on what you need, that might include pelvic health assessment, hands-on physiotherapy and rehabilitation, movement and strength work, breath and nervous system support, education so you understand your own body, or longer-term therapeutic coaching.

You leave with clearer understanding, practical guidance, and a plan that feels achievable for your real life.

A little more about me

Earlier in my life I trained as a dancer. That is where I first learned how much strength, coordination and confidence live in the body, and it still shapes how I approach movement and rehabilitation today.

Alongside one-to-one care, I run online classes and membership through the Spine and Pelvic Strength Club, for people who want flexible, guided support they can keep coming back to.

I work with every body, either online from anywhere in the world, or in person in Thame, Oxfordshire.

Women's Health & Therapeutic Coaching

In addition to physiotherapy, I offer health and therapeutic coaching.

This supports people navigating periods of change such as postnatal recovery, perimenopause, menopause, persistent stress, or life transitions where physical symptoms and emotional load often overlap.

This work creates space to pause, reflect, and understand patterns more clearly so you can reconnect with your body and yourself with greater confidence and trust.

Coaching can be offered alongside physiotherapy or as standalone support depending on your needs.

Who I work with

I support people with a wide range of concerns, including pelvic health symptoms, bladder and bowel changes, back, neck and musculoskeletal pain, postnatal recovery, perimenopause and menopause, persistent tension and stiffness, injury rehabilitation, and stress that is showing up in the body.

Some people come with a clear diagnosis. Others simply know that something does not feel right. Both are welcome here.

A simple next step

You do not need to have it all worked out before you reach out. If something does not feel right in your body, a proper assessment is often the thing that brings clarity, reassurance, and a clear direction forward.
